The Dutch Summer Dance Course (DeDSDC) is an annual dance event held in the last weeks of the summer holidays. Every year, dancers aged 6 to 80+ can participate in one or more weeks full of dance. Participants receive lessons in ballet and modern dance, work on repertoire, and engage with a new composition.
After the daytime program of dance classes, some days feature an additional program linked to our annual theme. This might include watching a documentary, a Q&A with an inspiring person, a visit to a museum, or an extra creative class/workshop – it could be anything.
The Dutch Don’t Dance Division also organizes various courses for all ages this summer. At the Korzo Theater, they receive lessons from inspiring teachers, have the opportunity to create their own choreography, and end the week with a beautiful performance!
