Register for the auditions of:

The Snowqueen
21st Christmas Production of DeDDDD - Choreograhpy Thom Stuart - Music Tuomas Kantelinen

You can register until September 14 via the form at the link above. After registering, you will receive an automatic confirmation.
In September, the production team will send an email stating which group you can audition for and at what time we expect you.
Availability Christmas period
If you pass the auditions, you must be available for the entire Christmas period (19 to 28 December). We create two casts: Red and Green. Each cast dances 3 performances and a general rehearsal. If you are unable to keep this period free, there is no point in coming to audition.
Availability rehearsal days
Weekly rehearsals are held on fixed days depending on the cast colour and/or group: Wednesday (children/ Characters) or Friday (children/ Corps de Ballet). And until 17th October also on Saturdays by everyone.
After the autumn break, in addition to the weekly day, rehearsals are held alternately on Saturdays or Sundays per cast colour. This is done according to a pre-established cast colour schedule. So you always have 2 rehearsals per week. The same applies here: if a fixed rehearsal day does not suit you, there is no point in coming to audition.
Start
The first meeting is already on Saterday 26th September. Rehearsals start on Wednesday 30 September or Friday 2 October. Except for the youngest group (7 year olds), which only starts after the autumn break.
'The Snow Queen' - our story
The Snow Queen is one of the beautiful fairy tales by the famous Hans Christian Andersen. Thom Stuart, artistic director of DeDDDD, is creating a brand-new ballet based on it featuring over eighty dancers, set to music by the young Finnish composer Tuomas Kantelinen (originally written for the Finnish National Ballet), and takes you to an enchanting winter world. Gerda battles the evil influence holding her boyfriend Kai in its grip: The Snow Queen freezes his heart, and trolls, wolves, and robbers threaten them. Helped by animals and a noble prince and princess, things fortunately end well. This chilling and heartwarming Christmas ballet, featuring stunning set design and lighting by Pink Steenvoorden and fairytale costumes by Rinus Sprong, is the ultimate Christmas experience for everyone, young and old!
